Biography

Ms Maria Blasinska graduated from medical school in 1981 at the University of Medical Science in Poznan, Poland. She completed her training in 1987 which gave a title of Specialist in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. She has over thirty years’ experience working as an anaesthetist and has a special interest in geriatric anaesthesia.

After graduation, Ms Blasinska worked in Regional Hospital in Poznan, Poland, then worked in El-Beyda, Libya for 3 years. From 1992 to 2007 she worked in Saint Luke’s Hospital, Malta.

Ms Blasinska moved to the UK in 2008 and worked for more than 3 years in New Hall Hospital, Salisbury before joining the team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton in 2011.

She specialises in Intensive Care and General Anaesthesia for Elderly patients.
