Hospital treatment

My mother recently underwent her second total knee replacement surgery at Practice Plus Group, both performed by Mr Dehne.

The care she received was professional and reassuring. Mr Dehne’s obvious expertise and clear communication put her at ease and the nursing staff, doctors and physios were all so kind and always willing to help.

She was a little unwell after the operation and had to stay an extra night. A special thank you to the night shift nurses Jill and Allison. Her progress was closely monitored and pain managed as well as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re extremely grateful for the care received.

The experience with PPG and Mr Dehne has been very positive – from the warm welcome on reception (Jackie is fabulous) though to being wheeled out to the car to go home (thank you Jordan), we are grateful for the care and compassion shown throughout both surgeries and look forward to a much better quality of life that two new knees will bring.

Jeevan was very informative from the offset. He explained everything that he would be doing during surgery. He is also very conscientious.

I had a total hip replacement at this hospital 7 days ago and I can truly say the care I received was exceptional and second to none. I could not have asked for a better experience. I was facing a long wait locally [for hip surgery], but at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Birmingham I was seen quickly, and the care was fantastic. I had absolute trust in my consultant, Mr Shahid.
