Mr Shakeeb Khan is a consultant general surgeon at Practice Plus Group, Emersons Green.
Mr Shakeeb Khan completed his medical degree in India in 2002. He subsequently undertook basic surgical training and surgical research, earning an MD from the University of Hull. He continued with higher surgical training in the Midlands, culminating in the award of a Certificate of Completion of Training in 2017.
In November 2017, Mr Khan was appointed as a Consultant Renal Transplant and General Surgeon at Southmead Hospital and Bristol Children’s Hospital. In this role, he performs complex surgical procedures, including kidney transplants (for both adults and children as young as one year old), laparoscopic kidney donation (keyhole kidney removal for transplantation), and hernia surgery.
