Biography
Ms Ourania Tramontani is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Surgery of Pavia in Italy. Ms Tramontani trained at the “P. & A. Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital and the “Korgialenio-Benakio” Hellenic Red Cross Hospital in Athens, Greece and at the Royal Preston Hospital, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, England. Ms Tramontani completed her speciality training in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery in 2011 and awarded a PhD degree in Otology and Audiovestibular medicine from The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with Distinction in 2014.
Ms Tramontani moved to the UK in 2008, worked at the Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust for 8 years and joined the team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, St Mary’s Portsmouth in 2010. Her area of expertise lies in the diagnosis and management of Dizziness and Balance Disorders.
Ms Tramontani is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Her values follow the GMC Good Medical Practice guidelines and therefore quality, honesty and confidentiality are assured. She is also a member of The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCSEng), the British Medical Association (BMA) and the ENTUK.
Research and publications
Passionate about ENT surgery, Ms Tramontani has authored several research papers in peer reviewed medical journals and numerous Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) and Clinical Questionnaires. She takes every opportunity to attend national and international conferences and training events to update and enhance her knowledge and become more integrated and comprehensive in her approach. Her main aspiration is to give each patient tailored and sensitive ENT care of the highest standard.
