Dr Maria Hobrok is a highly skilled consultant anaesthetist at Practice Plus Group.
Dr Maria Hobrok holds a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) and Specialist Registration in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, obtained in Slovakia in 2007. She graduated with a medical degree from Univerzita Pavla Jozefa Safárika in Kosice, Slovakia, in 1999, where she initially practised in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. Since relocating to the UK in 2005, she has worked across various NHS Trusts, Health Boards, and independent providers.
Dr Hobrok has extensive experience in blocks, epidural, spinal, and all other anaesthesia techniques, as well as intensive care and emergency medicine. She prioritises excellent bedside manner and strives to improve patients’ quality of life after surgery, taking great satisfaction from the visible impact of postoperative care. Her approach includes providing warmth, reassurance, and clear communication to help alleviate patient anxiety.
