Biography

Mr Jonathan Ockrim is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon who qualified from the University of Glasgow Medical School. He completed his surgical training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London, and brings many years of experience to his role.

In addition to his work at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet, he is also a Consultant Surgeon, Colorectal Cancer Surgeon, and Clinical Lead for Surgery at Yeovil District Hospital.

At the treatment centre, his main clinical interests include hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery (with a focus on intraoperative ultrasound), and coloproctology, particularly the management of haemorrhoids.
