Shweta Anand

Ms Shweta Anand is a highly experienced consultant ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery, as well as the management of a broad range of medical retina conditions.

Biography

Ms Shweta Anand graduated from medical school in 1998 at the University of Bombay and has completed her speciality training in ophthalmology. She has over 20 years’ experience working as an consultant ophthalmologist. She specialises in cataract surgery and has a special interest in medical retina.

Ms Shweta Anand has previously worked in Royal Free London Hospitals NHS Trust, Moorfields Eye Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital.

Ms Anand joined the ophthalmology teams at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Ilford and Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Gillingham in 2021 and has been an active member of the hospital since.
