I cannot recommend Practice Plus In Plymouth enough. From the start, they have been efficient, professional and supportive. All staff have been kind and caring. The treatment received has improved my father’s life immensely and this would not have happened without the professional and expertise of Dr Stitson. Thank you and keep up the great work you do.

I was seen by a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon at St Mary’s Hospital in Portsmouth within two weeks of applying. I didn’t have to wait long in the Outpatient’s department before being called in. An X-ray was ordered and taken and I was seen again by the Consultant who confirmed that I needed a hip replacement. The pros and cons of the procedure were explained, and I was told that I would hear from the secretary shortly afterwards to arrange a date for the surgery. The young radiologist was exceptionally kind. Due to an upcoming holiday, I’ve been able to choose when I would like to have the operation. So far I’ve found the Wellsoon part of this Group to be very efficient and I would recommend.

Firstly, the care from all theatre staff, they were brilliant… very caring and helpful. my surgeon, Vasileiosk Kefalas, was brilliant, he explained everything about the procedure as we proceeded I was extremely confident of his knowledge and abilities. my procedure went really smoothly! thank you all so much

I would like to thank everyone who looked after me with my hip replacement on 6/6/26 from Mr Miller who referred me, Mr Hosny the surgeon, all the nurses and other medical staff, the radiographer, the physiotherapist, domestics, receptionists, and anyone else I may have missed. From my first appointment to discharge, I could not have been treated any better. Having my surgery has given me my life back. Before, I couldn’t do much and certainly couldn’t go out and about. Now, I will be able to return to shopping, the clubs I belong to, and my football home matches, and most of all my coach trips to my football club’s away matches, which I really enjoy . Thank you all again from my heart.

Had my spinal surgery today and can’t rate and thank the whole team from surgeon down to the cleaners for a first class service I was treated with upmost respect and kindness from each and every one I came in contact with from the very first minute I stepped through the door at reception on my pre opp to phone calls all the way up to today and my operation the place is a first class credit to every one who works there once again a very very big thank you to you all.

I had full hip replacement in 2024 and a full knee replacement a year later in 2025. Both were carried out by Dr Alistair Scott Parker and I cannot give enough praise to Dr Parker & the entire Team at Practice Plus Group, Southampton. Excellent care during and post op. Warm and caring Anaesthetists Geoff & Steve. I will always be so grateful to Dr Parker for changing my life twice over. Follow the expert’s advice and you will make a full recovery. Rehab is key & listen to your body.

Absolutely first class experience for me. I think the best way to write this review is to simply put in here exactly what I wrote on the card which I took in to the Shepton Mallet hospital on my final post-op visit (along with boxes of treats for their staff rest room) – this was as follows:-

“I want to say thank you to all the staff that I met in my recent stay in the hospital. Every single one of you was professional and efficient combined with pleasantness and humour. My mother recently underwent her second total knee replacement surgery at Practice Plus Group, both performed by Mr Dehne.

The care she received was professional and reassuring. Mr Dehne’s obvious expertise and clear communication put her at ease and the nursing staff, doctors and physios were all so kind and always willing to help.

She was a little unwell after the operation and had to stay an extra night. A special thank you to the night shift nurses Jill and Allison. Her progress was closely monitored and pain managed as well as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re extremely grateful for the care received.

The experience with PPG and Mr Dehne has been very positive – from the warm welcome on reception (Jackie is fabulous) though to being wheeled out to the car to go home (thank you Jordan), we are grateful for the care and compassion shown throughout both surgeries and look forward to a much better quality of life that two new knees will bring.

I had a total hip replacement at this hospital 7 days ago and I can truly say the care I received was exceptional and second to none. I could not have asked for a better experience. All of the staff were wonderful and I cannot recommend this hospital enough. Jo and Sue also took great care of myself and partner (who was probably more nervous than me when I went down for surgery). My main nurse on duty was Natasha who was awesome throughout. I came here for a Sleeve Gastrectomy with the great Dr. Peter Vasas. My surgery went smoothly and I had the most amazing support from staff before and after. I couldn’t remember everyone’s name but Kerry, Jane, Atila and either Ava/Amy (theatre staff) were all amazing. Every staff member I spoke to was so kind and caring. I couldn’t commend this hospital more for being so well organised, hygienic, well staffed and great quality care. The private room I had was perfect, had everything I needed in it and I slept very comfortably. I am 7 days post op today after my hip replacement [with my amazing consultant Mr K Dehne] at this wonderful hospital. Feeling like a new woman again so very soon has more than amazed me. Every single member of staff I was lucky enough to meet were just so pleasant, caring, reassuring and a pleasure to be with during my pre op assessment all through to my post op care.

I had a left, total shoulder replacement operation on Monday 16 Dec 2024 and found my experience well worth the 5 ?s. I found all the staff, (from ward, theatre, xray porters, cleaners and catering) leading up to my operation and the following day so very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them and they put me at ease. I am not very good at remembering names but I do remember Karen, who looked after me when I arrived and Veronica (student nurse) who stayed with me while i waited for my cab to arrive. Just wish I could remember your names so I could name you but you know who you are. Once again, thank you all x

I recently had a gastroscopy procedure at Practice Plus, Ilford Hospital, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. The staff went above and beyond by calling me to offer an earlier appointment, which was incredibly convenient. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with professionalism and kindness. The nurses and doctors were so caring, guiding me through the procedure with reassurance and expertise. I was in and out of the hospital in under an hour, and the entire process was handled seamlessly. The minimal discomfort I experienced was a testament to the skill of the medical team. I can’t rate the doctors and nurses highly enough – truly outstanding care!

I came to this centre and was worried because I read some of the reviews but what a surprise, from the moment I came in to the moment I left I felt really happy with the service, the staff were incredible, a lovely lady called Otis was super friendly and Dr Mohammed and his staff were really lovely and put my nerves at ease straight away. The place is super clean and I really have no complaints whatsoever.

My husband recently had a procedure at Practice Plus and the care he received was above our expectations, great professional and kind service from everyone, a huge thanks to Mr Borley and his team.

Would highly recommend, opted to go for self pay urology treatment after really long waiting times at my local NHS hospital. Got my first consultation with the specialist within about 2 weeks and had surgery 1 week later. All the staff were extremely friendly, my consultant Chris Parker, was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. The anaesthetist was probably the nicest person I’ve ever met, very understanding and reassuring, easing any pre-surgery worries I had. Recovery was much quicker and a lot less painful than expected. Very happy with my experience.

On time quick and informative with a clear explanation of the issue and a plan to get back to good health. Quick access to follow up in 3-4 weeks if the exercises don’t help without needing to go back to hoops to see the same consultant. Very happy!

The physiotherapist explained to me the reasons why l was having painful neck. She further suggested and demonstrated what l needed to do in order to improve the situation. She forwarded a series of exercises to my email so that l know precisely what to do. I was very impressed and happy with my experience.

Atmosphere calm, building clean and fresh, toilets clean, but mostly because the member of staff who did my ultrasound was very pleasant and helpful and explained what she was seeing.

Was able to book a time that worked for me after finishing work on a Saturday afternoon. Receptionist was pleasant and professional, was seen at the agreed appointment time, the ultrasound operative was also pleasant and professional and fully explained what he was doing, would have no hesitation recommending this centre.

Great from start to finish the surgeon that did my hip op was Mr Flood great job the anaesthetist was Rachel she was brilliant to all the day staff and night staff you were all great which made my stay here brilliant.

I needed some corrective surgery on my foot which I was initially told would be not be available on the NHS. However, I had a successful referral from OASIS and the whole experience has been trouble free. Appointments all delivered on time with super friendly staff. I had my operation yesterday at Shepton Mallet and the theatre team were just fantastic (at the age of 65 this was my first experience of a medical theatre). Special thanks to Mr Lattouf, Cosmo, Richard and Dimos the anaesthetist. There was a lady there too whose name I didn’t catch. I am indebted to you all.

Had my bunion surgery in December 2023 and July 2024. It was an amazing experience! I was so lucky to meet such a talented surgeon Gerard Lattouf, I have now beautiful feet and life without pain, will be grateful to him for the rest of my life I woke up smoothly after GA, thanks to Maria and Cosmo, my appointments were never late or cancelled, everyone is so nice and friendly. I had a total hip replacement at the end of September. The whole team were fantastic, the nursing staff are very attentive, friendly and professional. A special thank you to the ladies that serve and make the food, the quality is excellent and they are so helpful. Also I would like to thank Mr Miller my surgeon, such a skilled man and nice with it.

I had the pleasure of having my first partial knee replacement performed my Mr Miller on Wednesday. A very positive experience. I am due to have second one done as soon as is possible. I was a little anxious about the op but have no qualms about having the next one done. Everyone was brilliant, and I mean, everyone. I was taken care of, fed well and given great advice. I know I am only a couple of days post op but I am able to move about far easier than expected. Thank you for the experience.

Today a week later, I’ve made my own breakfast, coffee’s and carried them, had a shower, dressed by myself, tidied up a bit and I’ve put the washing on. I very recently had a total left hip replacement and have previously had my right hip replaced here too. The care is second to none and there is an air of calm, friendly, warm efficiency within the hospital. I had a right hip replacement on 21/05/24 and would like to say thank you to my consultant Waqar Jan and all the staff surgical nursing and administration 8 weeks on. I was less daunted having the surgery with all the information that was given and the physio exercise programme. To have an emergency contact number was reassuring. I’m continuing with my recovery & my confidence is building every day, I really appreciate having improved mobility, no pain & a fully functioning hip.

I had a left total knee replacement on 15/04/24 and would like to say thank you for the treatment I received at your lovely hospital. I had been unable to walk without crutches for 14 months, I’m now pain free. My surgeon, Waqar Jan, & the team have given me my life back. I was able to walk my daughter down the aisle at her wedding 4 1/2 weeks after the operation and would like to thank everyone for making this a reality. I’d also like to thank the nurses & staff on the ward who were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.

Amazing first class service from all the team at Barlborough hospital. I had Total Knee Replacement on my left knee last February (2017) and can’t thank everyone enough and now awaiting appointment date to have Total Knee Replacement on my right knee. Mr Springer was and is the surgeon to do both my knees and is brilliant.

It’s been just over a year since I had a total knee replacement at the Barlborough centre. Mr Springer was my surgeon, what a difference it’s made to my life. I actually feel I’ve got my life back. Can highly recommend Barlborough centre for professional care with added TLC.

Can not speak too highly of all at Barlborough Treatment Centre. Thank goodness for such talented people as Mr Springer, I was in severe pain before he did my total knee replacement.

I was also delighted to be able to walk to our reception unaided afterwards too. What was even better was that in every photo I looked like me, and not someone who had just had a hip replacement!

It was incredible. I was given a course of tablets on the ward and then I was on the operating table. I was so relaxed I fell asleep. I came to and said to my surgeon, Mr Thorwald Springer, ‘Have I missed it?’ and he smiled and said yes. I also smiled as the pain had gone.

Before the operation it was like someone had pressed pause on my world…I really feel I can start my new chapter as Mrs Hiner pain-free!
