Mrs Priya Prakash provides expert care across a wide range of ocular conditions, including small incision cataract surgery, phacoemulsification with monofocal and multifocal intraocular lenses, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disorders, retinal vascular occlusions, intravitreal therapies, therapeutic lasers, eyelid surgery, glaucoma, dry eyes, and general ophthalmology.
Mrs Prakash completed her medical degree in 1993 and earned a Master of Surgery degree in 1997. She holds several key positions, including consultant ophthalmologist at Southampton University Hospital (ad hoc) and MAC representative for Ophthalmology at Rivers Hospital. She has been actively involved in research and clinical trials, serving as Principal Investigator for approved studies at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Essex, and contributes to the profession as a CESR assessor at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London.
