Our healthcare divisions
At Practice Plus Group, we currently deliver more than 70 different healthcare services across the UK with some of these services being rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC.
We are proud to be the UK’s leading independent provider of healthcare services in over 40 prisons across all categories including; high security, female and youth offender establishments. We work collaboratively with prison staff and commissioning bodies to deliver improved outcomes, reduced waiting times and the very best frontline healthcare for prisoners. We’re proud of our track record in improving the long-term health of offenders and lowering the rates of emergency hospital admissions.
We are also leading the way in the design and delivery of Integrated Urgent Care. Our service builds upon our experience of answering 2.5 million NHS 111 calls each year and our delivery of other urgent care services; out of hours, urgent care centres, minor injury units, walk-in centres and general practices. Our integrated urgent care model provides people with access to urgent health services 24 hours a day, every day of the week, simply by making a free call to NHS 111.
The primary focus of our Secondary Care services is to deliver high quality, patient-centred NHS and Private elective care in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, endoscopy, general surgery, gynaecology, ENT and urology, as well as providing excellent diagnostic and assessment services to help patients access the right treatment for them in a timely manner. We also help patients needing urgent, ‘walk in’ access to treatment via our UTCs at Portsmouth and Southampton.
We provide high quality treatment to patients with both primary care and acute care needs in all of our settings. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you’ll have the support you need to deliver the best care possible.
I really enjoy working at Practice Plus Group – we strive to put patients first and genuinely deliver patient-centred services… whilst that sounds simple and obvious, not many healthcare organisations can actually sustain this approach; we also promote an inclusive, flexible culture and from a personal perspective, working at Practice Plus Group enables me to manage and deliver a range of key services working with motivated, engaged colleagues… what more could you ask?!Andy Lunt
