– general medical checks – medical and lifestyle advice – second opinion – diagnosis and treatment of minor illness and injuries – private prescriptions – repeat medication – support for ongoing management of chronic conditions.
Can a private GP access my medical records?
Yes, a private GP will be able to access your medical records.
Can a private GP refer to the NHS?
Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet private GP can offer onward NHS referrals. Currently not available at Emersons Green or Birmingham.
Can I request a male or female doctor?
At Practice Plus Group, both our private GPs are female.
Can I book a private GP appointment for my child?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer private GP appointments to those under 18 years of age.
