Practice Plus Group Learning Academy
At Practice Plus Group we are committed to developing our employee’s skills and growing their knowledge, progressing career development and fostering a culture of lifelong learning. We believe in providing our employees with access to high quality cutting edge training, learning and development opportunities. Employees all have access to the company learning management system (LMS), which houses all their training, learning, shared learning platforms and personalised career development requirements.
Statutory, mandatory and technical training
Employees receive extensive training via eLearning, Face to Face and virtual classrooms related to any statutory, mandatory, systems and technical training for their job role. They also have access to an extensive library of learning content, online training courses, publications, internal and external training events, seminars and shared learning via our LMS, and related learning and development platforms.
Employee Career development is a key focus. This is driven by our annual appraisals and performance reviews which not only focus on existing needs for their current job role but also on future career pathways and development. We offer all employees a host of development opportunities from fully funded qualifications and apprenticeships to enrolment in our management and leadership development and succession planning programmes.
Clinical development and care provision
For our clinical and medical colleagues we provide access and funding to a host of CPD events, training and seminars, which are all recorded and evidenced on our company LMS for revalidation purposes. Our clinical and medical teams all have access to learning content, medical journals and qualifications via our network of partner royal colleges, including the RCN, RCS, RCP, and RCGP.
We offer an extensive fully funded apprenticeships programme covering a number of job roles and qualifications both clinical and non-clinical roles. Allowing employees to obtain qualifications while working in an existing role or developing into a future one.
DevelopMe leadership development and succession planning programmes
Practice Plus Group is committed to the development of our supervisory and managerial colleague’s leadership skills. We have an extensive Team Management Essentials and Management Essentials programme, as well as a ground breaking leadership programme which focuses on our clinical and medical management and leadership known as “Chrysalis”. All our leadership development programmes focus on three key areas:

- Develop my Team
- Develop my Service
All enrolled on these programmes partake in extensive 360 reviews, coaching and mentorship sessions throughout the duration of the programmes which vary from 12 to 24 months.
