Eligibility and requirements for surgery financing

As you might expect, eligibility for payment plans is very much subject to status. To be eligible for medical finance in the UK, the applicant must meet one of the following criteria:

  • be in employment
  • be self-employed
  • be the recipient of a regular and consistent income.

Additionally, you must be over 18 years of age and have lived in the UK for at least the last three years.

How to apply for a private surgery payment plan

It’s easy to apply for a payment plan with our providers, Chrysalis Finance. All you need to do is get in touch to confirm your treatment cost. Our friendly team will then be able to send you a link to apply.

There are a few things to bear in mind before you apply for monthly payment plans. First, you’ll need to make sure you can comfortably keep up with monthly repayments alongside your other regular expenses.

When it comes to eligibility, the following are minimum requirements:

  • you are in full time employment or retired and have a source of steady income
  • you are over 18 years of age
  • you have been a UK resident for the past 3 years.
