Mr Vasileios Kefalas is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery, with over 23 years in the field. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1996 and completed his mandatory service in the Greek Army Medical Department, also working as a General Practitioner. He then pursued specialist training in orthopaedics, earning his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2007.

In 2008, Mr Kefalas relocated to the UK, undertaking an Upper Limb Fellowship at Wrightington Hospital in Wigan, followed by a senior upper limb fellowship at Southampton General University Hospital. He was admitted to the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register in 2008. In 2013, he obtained the European Diploma in Hand Surgery from the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH) and is a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).

Since 2010, Mr Kefalas has been practicing at Practice Plus Group Hospital in Southampton, where he performs a wide range of wrist and hand procedures, including carpal tunnel release, trigger finger treatment, ganglion removal, soft tissue tumor excision, ligament reconstruction, Dupuytrens contracture surgery, trapeziectomy, and wrist arthroscopy.
