Dr Roberto Caranza graduated from medical school in 1981 at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and completed his speciality training in anaesthetics in 1997. He has over 21 years’ experience working as an anaesthetist in the UK and has a special interest in obstetric and orthopaedic anaesthesia.
Dr Caranza moved to the UK in 1990, and joined the team as bank anaesthetist at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough in January 2020. Dr Caranza is passionate about orthopaedic and day case anaesthesia, and is a member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
