Mr Robert Jordan is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow conditions at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Birmingham. Fellowship-trained at the world-renowned Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, his specialist expertise in advanced open and arthroscopic procedures was further recognised through the award of the prestigious Watanabe Travelling Fellowship in Shoulder Arthroscopy.
Mr Jordan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions. His specialist practice enables him to provide focused care using the latest open and arthroscopic surgical techniques, supported by close collaboration with physiotherapy colleagues to ensure each patient receives the most appropriate treatment for their individual needs. His specialist interests include arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation, arthroscopic capsular release, arthroscopic acromioclavicular (ACJ) excision, ACJ reconstruction and the treatment of cubital tunnel syndrome.
Mr Jordan was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in 2019, where he treats patients across Solihull Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. He completed his orthopaedic training through the Warwick Orthopaedic Training Programme before undertaking a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at the internationally recognised Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry. During this fellowship, he further developed his expertise in complex open and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow procedures.
In 2019, Mr Jordan was awarded the prestigious Watanabe Travelling Fellowship in Shoulder Arthroscopy. This enabled him to learn advanced arthroscopic techniques from leading shoulder surgeons across the United Kingdom, further enhancing his specialist shoulder and elbow practice.

He is an invited reviewer for numerous journals and has spent three years as the Editor-in-Chief of a trauma journal.
