Biography

Mr Kenan Dehne has extensive experience in lower limb reconstructive surgery including total hip replacement, total knee replacement, uni-compartmental knee replacement and Knee Arthroscopy. He graduated from Damascus University where he practiced in Orthopaedics and Trauma before moving to the UK in 2004 where is has worked in NHS Trusts in Bath, Cotswolds, West Midlands, Wales and the North West and then joining Practice Plus Group.

He became a fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedic and Traumatology in 2014 and was elected a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons FRCS (Tr and Orth) in 2015. He is Fellowship trained at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and at Wirral University Teaching Hospital.

Mr Dehne is actively involved in research related to the Enhanced Recovery Programme for patients following a hip or knee replacement, which aims to provide patients with a smoother recovery, along with various other subjects. You will find Mr Dehne’s research work published in many prestigious orthopaedic journals and presented in international and national meetings.
