Biography
Mr John Spearman graduated from medical school in 1999 at the University of Birmingham, UK and completed his speciality training in general surgery 13 years later. He has been working as a consultant general surgeon since 2012 and has a special interest in laparoscopic benign upper gastro and endo surgery but mostly focuses on hernia surgery.
Research
Mr Spearman is also currently a consultant in Yeovil District Hospital where he has been involved with research looking at gallstone disease (PI for collaborative study from Aberdeen University).
Hobbies and interests
Mr Spearman has an active family life which takes up a lot of his spare time, he also has a great love of the outdoors and is actively involved with his church.
