Biography
Dr James Wareham is a consultant working in our pain management speciality in Shepton Mallet but he is also an Interventional Neuroradiologist at North Bristol NHS Trust.
James is one of six interventional neuroradiologists at Southmead hospital that deliver the regional sub-arachnoid haemorrhage and stroke thrombectomy service and along with Dr Steve Morgan and Dr Alex Mortimer, provide a pain management service at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet.
James has a particular interest education and frequently lectures and helps deliver practical training at courses dedicated to brain and spine intervention.
After completing his general radiology training, he undertook a three-year fellowship in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology at Southmead Hospital, during which he also completed all four modules of the European Diploma of Interventional Neuroradiology (ECMINT).
