Dr. Imad Wafaie earned his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in 2005, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the Eye Surgical Hospital, Damascus. He completed a Master in Cataract & Glaucoma at the Barraquer Institute, Barcelona.
Dr. Wafaie has over 15 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology. He is currently a senior ophthalmologist at Stepping Hill Hospital, where he has been practicing since 2019.
His areas of focus include glaucoma, retinal diseases: macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy & retinal vascular diseases, and cataract surgery.
He is dedicated to providing high standards of patient care.
