Biography

Mr Hazem Hosny has a special interest in research and has completed a number of research projects. He has regular publications published in peer reviewed journals, and has completed a masters and a PhD degree in orthopaedics. His PhD thesis was on metal on metal hip replacement surgery.

In 2014, Mr Hosny was appointed as a locum consultant in trauma and orthopaedics at Derriford Hospital and was appointed to his substantive consultant post at University Hospitals Plymouth in 2018.
