Biography
After Graduation from Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1996 and completing House Officer and Senior House Officer posts Mr. Flood undertook his Specialist Orthopaedic Training. This was based at Barts and The London, however also included placements at Colchester, Whipps Cross, Southend, Chelmsford, Newham and The Royal National Orthopaedic in Stanmore. He was a Locum Consultant at The Royal London Hospital before taking up post at PPG Southampton.
Mr. Flood has a special interest in primary and revision hip and knee replacements and also in foot and ankle surgery. He is listed as having performed over 1000 hip replacements and nearly 800 knee replacements on the National Joint Registry. Mr. Flood is the Lead Surgeon at Southampton which is a managerial role and also conducts annual medical appraisals for other doctors and surgeons.

Hobbies and interests
He enjoys cooking and likes to burn off the calories by walking and cycling.
His favourite holiday destination is Tenerife for the warm climate and the mountain walks.
