Biography

Aleksandr Klink obtained a Medical Degree in the University of Tartu in Estonia 2000 and specialised as an Orthopaedic surgeon in 2009. He spent one and a half years practicing in Estonia before coming to the UK. Mr Klink worked at a few hospitals over the past few years before joining Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet in 2023.

As a hip and knee surgeon, my approach to care is centred on the patient—listening to their goals, addressing their concerns, and using the best techniques to achieve the best outcomes. My goal is to restore mobility, relieve pain, and help patients return to the life they love.

  • Arthroplasty fellowship, primarily for hip and knee arthroplasty and soft tissue reconstruction.
  • Trauma/arthroplasty fellowship looking at hip and knee revisions.

Mr Klink also has a special interest in teaching and has been involved in training clinical staff groups within theatres and clinics.
