Mr Zsolt Hegedus is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon based in Emersons Green, with over 20 years of expertise. He graduated from Semmelweis Medical University in Hungary in 1994 and completed his specialist training in orthopaedics in 1999. He specialises in primary hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy, and hand and forefoot surgeries.
He served as a board member of the Hungarian Medical Chamber and was President of its Ethics Committee from 2019 to 2023. Mr Hegedus has practised in the UK since 2005, initially as Clinical Lead at the Greater Manchester Surgical Centre, before moving to Bristol in 2009, where he continues to work at the Emersons Green Centre. According to long-term National Joint Registry data, he is among surgeons with the best outcomes.
