With over 20 years’ experience in orthopaedics, Mr Rees is a specialist in knee, foot, and ankle surgery. Mr Robin Rees is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over 21 years of experience, specialising in knee, foot and ankle surgery. He previously worked for over 17 years at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, where he was a senior surgeon leading foot and ankle services, including a tertiary service for complex foot and ankle trauma. His practice includes the treatment of a wide range of knee conditions, soft tissue injuries, tendon problems and osteoarthritis, as well as advanced care for foot and ankle disorders. He established an Achilles tendon service for patients with persistent Achilles problems and was part of a regional centre offering total ankle replacement. He is experienced in both traditional and modern minimally invasive techniques, including keyhole bunion surgery, forefoot surgery and arthroscopic procedures.
Robin has treated professional athletes, including footballers, rugby players, hockey players and dancers, helping them return to high levels of performance. He combines extensive surgical expertise with a practical understanding of mobility, function and recovery, aiming to reduce pain, restore movement and help each patient return to the activities that matter most to them.
