High quality healthcare for all
High quality healthcare for all

Across our Hospitals and Surgical Centres our ward teams are a close knit collaborative team who pride themselves in providing the highest standard of care to our patients and their families. Our Ward team is comprised of experienced Ward nurses, Team Leads and healthcare assistants supported by experienced Deputy and Ward Managers.

All of our work is planned so our teams are able to plan their week with ease knowing their work schedule won’t change. They work with the wider Practice Plus Group medical team to ensure continuous care for our patients.

The benefits of working in the Practice Plus Group wards include:

  • Lower nurse to bed ratios – during the day this is typically 6 – 8 and overnight no more than 10
  • Modern purpose built environments with fewer beds per ward
  • Forward thinking clinical practices
  • Accessible and approachable management
  • Flexible working with full time, part time and bank positions available
  • Rotas planned in advance

For those seeking career development there are clear career pathways and plenty of opportunities for additional training. When you join any of our ward teams you become a member of the close knit “ward family” supported by your colleagues.
