The NJR Data Quality Gold Level demonstrates the hospital’s strong commitment to accurate and complete data submission for every joint replacement procedure, supporting patient safety and improved clinical outcomes. As a specialist orthopaedic centre, the hospital undertakes a high volume of joint replacement procedures each year for NHS and private patients, most commonly hip and knee replacements. The award follows a rigorous quality data audit, confirming the hospital’s adherence to best practice standards and its focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for patients.
The National Joint Registry monitors the performance of hip, knee, ankle, elbow and shoulder joint replacement procedures across the UK. Its Quality Data Provider certificate scheme sets high standards for patient safety and data quality, recognising hospitals that consistently meet or exceed these benchmarks.
