Biography
Dr Simon Dale is an experienced consultant anaesthetist with more than two decades of consultant-level experience and over 30 years in the field of anaesthesia. Dr Dale began practising anaesthesia in 1991 after completing his medical degree at the University of Sheffield and went on to achieve Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1995. In 1999, Dr Dale was appointed as a consultant anaesthetist at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, where he developed extensive expertise in providing anaesthesia for complex upper and lower limb orthopaedic procedures, including joint replacements and spinal surgery.
Since joining Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough, in 2023, Dr Dale has continued to apply his calm, patient-centred approach to care, ensuring every patient feels informed, comfortable and reassured throughout their surgical journey. He takes pride in delivering safe, tailored anaesthesia that supports the best possible surgical outcomes.
