A private consultation with Mr Blocker costs £95. This price includes: an in-depth consultation, x-rays, blood tests, swabs and a tailored treatment plan – no GP referral needed, simply call 0330 165 9982 or fill out the form on this page.
Mr Blocker’s approach to patient care is to follow the results in arthroplasty that are associated with success and apply these to his patients. He likes to find out what his patients want to do after having joint replacement and get them back to that, whether it is walking without pain or getting up a mountain. He aims for patients to have joint replacements that are ‘forgotten’.
Mr Blocker performs fully kinematic knee replacements using medial pivot design components. The results from the National Joint Registry suggest that these knee replacements offer better outcomes, which he is seeing in his patients.
He performs standard hip replacements using tried and trusted components (cemented, hybrid and uncemented) and encourage his patients to be part of NHS research (HiPPY trial)
