Dr Pataki is a Consultant anaesthetist with over a decade of experience from India and the UK. He is a published author of peer-reviewed journals and has extensive expertise in regional anaesthesia, critical care, obstetric, and neuroanaesthesia.
Dr Chetan Pataki is a GMC-registered consultant anaesthetist with over a decade of diverse experience across India and the UK. He completed his MBBS from India and obtained a Diplomat of National Board in Anaesthesia from New Delhi. He trained again in the UK and he has been on the UK Specialist Register since April 2023. He has extensive expertise in regional anaesthesia, critical care, obstetric and neuroanaesthesia, and has led and participated in numerous research studies, including REMAP-CAP, HEAL-COVID, GAP, and SNAP-3. He also serves as a research lead and CESR Programme Development Lead, contributing significantly to clinical governance and training of international medical graduates.
He is a published author in peer-reviewed journals and an active peer reviewer. His contributions to medical education span from simulation training to mentorship, and he is recognised for his leadership roles including Governance Lead, NELA Audit Lead, and Trust Appraiser. Dr Pataki’s work reflects his strong commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and teaching, making him a valuable asset to the NHS and the global anaesthesia community.
