Alison TJ Edwards

Since April 2022 Miss Edwards has been the Medical Director and a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet. She now undertakes hand and wrist surgery only.

Biography

Miss Edwards graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 1992. In 2003 she completed higher surgical training at the West Midlands Deanery, in trauma and orthopaedics. After this she undertook a one year fellowship at the prestigious Wrightington Hospital Upper Limb Unit.

In 2004 she took up her first consultant post in trauma and orthopaedics at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, initially undertaking both adult and paediatric upper limb surgery.

In 2017 Miss Edwards moved to University Hospitals Bristol and Weston as Deputy Medical Director.
