Mr Aleksandr Klink is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Tartu, Estonia, in 2000 and completed his specialisation as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2009. After practising for one and a half years in Estonia, Mr Klink relocated to the UK, working in several hospitals before joining Practice Plus Group in 2023. His expertise lies in lower limb trauma, arthroplasty, and reconstruction, with a particular focus on hip and knee procedures.
Mr Klink is deeply committed to medical education, actively participating in the training of clinical staff in theatres and clinics. He has completed three prestigious fellowships in the Southwest of England (Truro, Plymouth, and Exeter), including a knee fellowship focusing on trauma-related injuries, an arthroplasty fellowship specialising in hip and knee arthroplasty and soft tissue reconstruction, and a trauma/arthroplasty fellowship addressing hip and knee revisions.
