Biography
Aleksandr Klink obtained a Medical Degree in the University of Tartu in Estonia 2000 and specialised as an Orthopaedic surgeon in 2009. He spent one and a half years practicing in Estonia before coming to the UK. Mr Klink worked at a few hospitals over the past few years before joining Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet in 2023.
Special interests
Lower limb trauma, arthroplasty and reconstruction. Mr Klink also has a special interest in teaching and has been involved in training clinical staff groups within theatres and clinics.
Fellowships and/or memberships
Three fellowships in SW Truro, Plymouth & Exeter. A knee fellowship, including trauma related injuries. Arthroplasty fellowship, primarily for hip and knee arthroplasty and soft tissue reconstruction. Trauma/arthroplasty fellowship looking at hip and knee revisions.
Hobbies and interests
Mr Klink spends his spare time outside enjoying hiking, swimming and general travel.
