Biography
Mr Parker completed his medical training in Scotland and South West England, building a strong foundation in orthopaedics before undertaking advanced sub-specialty fellowships in hip and knee surgery at University Hospital Llandough in Cardiff. During this time, he developed a particular interest in enhanced recovery pathways and the management and prevention of orthopaedic infection — areas that continue to shape his clinical practice today. Between 2016 and 2023, Mr Parker worked as an NHS Consultant in the South West, where he gained extensive experience managing complex hip and knee cases and delivering high-volume joint replacement services. He joined Practice Plus Group in 2023 and is based in Southampton, where he continues to provide expert surgical care for patients seeking both elective and same-day procedures.
Mr Parker performs over 300 procedures each year, including primary and revision hip and knee replacements, partial knee replacements, arthroscopic knee surgery, meniscal repair, joint injections and Arthrosamid treatment.
