Mr Jeevan Chandrasenan is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over 10 years of experience in consultant practice. He completed his specialist orthopaedic training at the University of Nottingham, followed by a dedicated knee fellowship at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton, where he developed his expertise in knee sports injuries, ligament reconstruction, and arthroscopic surgery.

Biography

Mr Chandrasenan joined Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough in April 2018 and routinely performs a wide range of procedures including soft tissue knee surgery, total and partial knee replacements, and total hip replacements.

Mr Chandrasenan is committed to providing personalised care, taking the time to discuss all aspects of treatment and ensuring patients fully understand their condition to make informed decisions about the best management strategy for them. He also runs the acute knee service at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, is an honorary lecturer for Sheffield University medical students, and trains specialty trainees on the East Midlands Orthopaedic Rotation. Every September, he leads the Chesterfield and Sheffield FRCS Clinical Examination Course, widely regarded as one of the top training courses for aspiring orthopaedic consultants.

He is an active member of the British Association of Knee Surgery, the British Orthopaedic Association, and the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association.
