Mr Attila Kovacs is a consultant orthopaedic hand surgeon with over 16 years of experience practising in the UK. He graduated from Semmelweis University, Budapest, in 1988 and completed specialist training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in Hungary, where he worked as a consultant from 1994. He moved to the UK in 2009 and has since been practising as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, focusing exclusively on adult elective hand and wrist surgery. Mr Kovacs treats a wide range of conditions, including nerve compressions such as carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries, arthritis of the fingers and wrist, malunions of hand and wrist fractures, benign hand masses, Dupuytren’s contracture, and TFCC injuries. He uses evidence-based surgical techniques to achieve optimal outcomes and is dedicated to providing patient-centred care, taking the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and develop a tailored treatment plan.
