Mr Nawar Abdulsattar is a distinguished consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over two decades of experience in hip and knee arthroplasty and sports injuries of the lower limb. He earned his MBChB from Al-Mustansirya University in Baghdad in 2003. Subsequently, he relocated to Sweden, where he passed the medical exam at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and pursued comprehensive training, becoming a Swedish-Board certified specialist in trauma and orthopaedics.Â
During his training, Mr Abdulsattar conducted research on developmental hip dysplasia and enrolled in PhD studies at Gothenburg University, focusing on the epidemiology, treatment methods, and outcomes of ankle fractures.Â
His professional journey includes a hip and knee arthroplasty fellowship at Stockholm Orthopaedic Center, after which he was appointed as a consultant surgeon at Aleris hospitals in Stockholm.
