About the consultant:

Mr Gyorgy Lovasz is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Director for Orthopaedics at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough. With over four decades in orthopaedic surgery, he has performed more than 7,000 procedures in the UK, specialising in hip and knee replacements, including complex revisions and arthroscopies.

He graduated from the University of Pécs in Hungary in 1981 and completed a fellowship at the Orthopaedic Hospital in Los Angeles. Mr. Lovasz has also served as a consultant orthopaedic-trauma surgeon in Al Ain, UAE.

At Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough, Mr Lovasz pioneered the day-case joint replacement program, enabling patients to return home on the same day of their surgery. This initiative has significantly improved patient recovery times and satisfaction.

During your 15-minute consultation, Mr. Lovasz will assess your condition, discuss potential treatment options, and answer any questions you may have.
