About the consultant

Mr Gupta graduated in London in 2007 and completed foundation training in the East Midlands. He undertook two years of research into bladder cancer in Cardiff before progressing to higher surgical training across the West Midlands. Following completion of training, he gained further specialist experience through fellowships at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne—one of the busiest trauma centres in the Southern Hemisphere—and University College Hospital, London (UCLH), a world-leading urology centre. These roles provided advanced exposure to complex urological surgery, including robotic techniques for prostate and bladder cancer.
His current practice encompasses all aspects of general urology, including the management of lower urinary tract symptoms, benign prostate disease, haematuria, and stone disease, alongside specialist care for urological cancers. He is passionate about improving men’s health and regularly delivers educational sessions for patients and staff. Mr Gupta brings a combination of technical expertise, academic insight, and a strong focus on patient experience, making him well placed to provide high-quality urological care within a multidisciplinary team.
