At Practice Plus Group Hospitals we’re passionate about giving patients a positive experience and excellent clinical outcomes, with personalised care every step of the way.
Whether you’re an NHS-funded patient, paying for yourself or using private medical insurance, with our short waiting times, unrivalled Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings and high levels of cleanliness and infection control, we’ll make sure you’re looked after. In fact, we were the first provider to have all services rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.
By focusing on a select range of specialties, we concentrate our efforts on being the best provider of the procedures we offer. Our hospitals are centres of excellence, with consultants regularly performing extremely high volumes of the surgery they specialise in and achieving outstanding results.
As a group of specialist hospitals we only provide scheduled surgery, which means patients can feel confident that their procedure will happen as planned, without sudden cancellation because of competing priorities. Our sites are taking every measure to remain clean and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic so patients can still have the utmost confidence in coming to see us for treatment.
The main benefit of our partnership with the NHS is a better service for patients. Working with a range of partners enables the NHS to ensure that patients are treated quickly and professionally in a location and at a time of their choosing. Together we can focus on improving the quality of service delivery, reducing waiting times and ensuring positive treatment outcomes for everyone.
Our hospitals don’t deal with emergency cases and specialise in a select range of treatment; this means that the NHS patients who use our services know they will get the treatment that they were expecting, on the day they were expecting it.
We use our ability to be agile and innovate to help the NHS introduce new ideas and ways of working; we’re always coming up with plans for improving the value we deliver to our NHS partners and the experience we give our patients.
As part of Black History Month, we want to make you aware of an important issue that heavily affects the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community. In the UK, there is a shortage of BAME blood donors. Just last year, fewer than 5% of blood donors came from the BAME community.
Nurul Ahad, Practice Plus Group’s Head of Orthopaedics, explained: “Fragile bones are more likely to break, and unfortunately hardworking bones in your wrist, hip and spine are particularly vulnerable.”
We are delighted that our Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) call centres have been shortlisted as finalists for four prestigious awards at the European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards 2020 (ECCCSA 2020).
