Biography

Karen qualified from Sheffield Medical School in 1990 and then went on to follow a career in Ophthalmology, with her post-graduate training at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. She attained her College Certificate in Specialist Training (CCST) in 2000 and commenced her first consultant post at Royal Oldham Hospital (now the Northern Care Alliance) in February 2000. Karen specialised in retinal surgery for 14 years and now specialises in the treatment of medical retinal disease and cataract surgery, including insertion of premium lens implants.
